I am a Senior at the University of Tennesee, Knoxville. I am a Marketing major with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Marketing and Entrepreneurship have always been my passions within business, and creating the Roomie Reign App allowed me to pursue both of them.

The main goal of Roomie Reign is to make living with roommates as easy as possible. It can be hard to communicate certain things to roommates, especially if they were grouped at random. The only apps currently designed for roommates are for the initial process of finding someone to live with, but nothing further. Some of the biggest problems among roommates include the cleanliness of the apartment, disagreements over what to watch or how to spend the day, and how to equally divide up purchasing necessities for the apartment. As mentioned above, the app will allow you to upload your work/school schedule, recommend suggestions for entertainment, enter what is needed to be purchased or done for the apartment, and a feature for roommates to request quiet time. These are the four features of focus during the early stages of the app’s development, but the features will just increase with time. All roommates will be on the same page and better plan out their busy weeks.
